Evaluation

I had  a lot of fun making my trailer and ancillary products although I did find it very challenging in comparison to my work in year 12. I found that filming was a lot more stressful than first expected. I wanted to ensure that I listened to the audience and their needs. I tried to do this by creating the trailer based on their feedback. I mostly enjoyed the challenging of filming and also learning how to use Adobe Premiere elements. My least favorite part of the whole project was probably doing the filming over and over again. In my head before I begun the filming I thought it was going to be fairly straight forward. This however was not the case. I didn't realise how hard it was to organise times when everyone was free and had to make a lot of room in my own social life for the project. I really like the story line that I finished with in the end. I am glad I did manage to show the dolls in the trailer.

My ancillary products turned out a lot better than I thought they would. I really worked hard on the film poster, with the setting and the costume. The prop of the rocking chair really gave it an eerie older photograph kind of theme. This was the sort of thing I was going for. It took me and Beth forever to get a good picture of her in the chair! I was glad that I was already equipped with the skills I needed in Photoshop for a base of the products. I however did have to go back onto YouTube to look at certain tutorials to really give it a proffesional look.
